The song tells his week: »On Monday I'm her king, on Tuesday I'm a ghost«, and by Wednesday she is already holding someone else's name close. When he asks what he means to her, the answer is almost honest: »You're a chapter, maybe something more.«

What makes »She Dances With Everyone« remarkable is that it never makes her the villain. She says it herself – »Love is not a prison, love is not a golden chain. If you try too hard to hold me, you will lose me in the rain.« In the end he grants her the point instead of condemning her: »she belongs to herself when she starts to dance«. What remains is the price he knows and pays anyway – »a little bit of heaven, a little bit of ice«.
